Tea and Tomes is a social and intellectual salon focused on a love of books, conversation, and tea. Our society’s work has a special focus on nineteenth-century literature and culture, but our scholarly interests are eclectic and wide-ranging. We promote collaboration and connections between scholars of all levels (professionals, students, independent researchers, and those with personal interests) both formally and informally. As an organization based in the Twin Cities, we aim to foster engagement with the history of the community through society outings.
